In November 2024, I drove over 7000 kms in my truck, all over the US to take part in the Girl Winter Film Tour 2024. The tour is a collection of short films, all featuring women-centric media in skiing and snowboarding.
I want to thank everyone involved with organizing the stops, booking venues, marketing the films, and so on. It was an amazing opportunity to show my film all over the States and make a connection with local shredders. That trip was proof that women’s ski and snowboard films are needed and we should continue making them. There is a hunger in the younger generation of girls to be seen, to be inspired, to do great things, to push their own limits. Their eyes are lit and they’re ready for action. This was the second annual Girl Winter tour and I’m sure it will continue, only growing in size! Almost every venue was sold out, in theaters of up to 500 people sometimes. It was truly incredible to see, so many women and little girls in the audience.
