How lovely is that; when I got caught up in the middle of the biggest workload of the month, with an ear infection and the whole Canggu being robbed out of electricity and wifi connection.
Beauty.
Not really sure what I should do, I’ve been laying in bed for the whole morning, when my cleaning lady came and I figured it was time to scoot out. Literally.
I drove my motorbike a little more careful today since the streets were practically flooded. Without a plan where I’m headed, I automatically turned right to the side street and subconsciously ended up at my favorite vegan place. Funny, how I promised myself to try new places to eat, every day – since Bali (and specially Canggu) is full of them! But I always somehow (I don’t know how) end up in my trusted few!
Which btw – I barely share with the world, because then they get too crowded. I’m just saying.
Before the wifi in the whole town went blank, I watched my friends Insta stories and seems like the whole island has been getting some serious rain!
I guess it was time for that.
We have already finished the first week of November and this was the first serious rainfall. Plants needed it though. I didn’t, not right now, not when I’m sick and need to get shit done! I think the last couple days, it’s been a bit too much. Surfing multiple times a day, not getting enough rest, going out etc… My body is telling me to slow down and that’s what I’m doing.
Slowing down.
Well, to be honest… I don’t really have a choice. So I have actually been more consistent on taking my morning CBD oil dose every day. Which has helped me a lot with sleeping better and with my pain relief. (and trust me, nothing worse than the pain you get from your ears being infected!)
I have some time left in Bali before I head back to Canada. Less than 2 weeks, wow. It definitely goes by fast, but I like it. I’m ready to make my way home soon. So I have been, naturally spending some quality days lately at my favorite spa – Sofia Spa! I love their natural treatments, massages, and facials! Such a lovely place with lovely people. And I have been working on this very exciting, upcoming thing. Not sure, if I should talk about it yet, because is not ready. So I’m just going to wait for a couple more weeks and then do a big announcement.
Very soon.
ohhhh and P.S.
ABOUT a month ago, I put together this simple class on tropical photography. It’s completely for FREE and you can check it out here! If you have any questions about it, or IF you have any suggestions about what class I should create next, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
