My friend Sarah and I had spent a couple of days at the beautiful Astagina resort. This little piece of land made us feel welcome and isolated from the busy Legian streets. Making it a very good option for relaxing, yet scoring some productive moments at the same time.
Astagina Resort is located right next to Double Six beach – only about a 2-minute walk. As we arrived at Astagina we were greeted by wonderful staff and a glass of iced tea. The check-in was a breeze and we were escorted to our room. Once we were settled in we decided to take a look around and hang out by the pool. We were not disappointed as there were two pools, two restaurants, and a beautiful garden to do yoga in. We ended up spending most of our time by the pool in the cabanas. It worked really good for me since I did a lot of editing/posting/teaching and planning during my stay. Which is essentially just heaps of computer work. Check out what I do, HERE.
And those cabanas had the plugs to charge my laptop. AMEN.
Astagina’s cabanas were a great set up, slightly overhanging the pool with a bar off the right-hand side which you could swim to.
The entire resort of Astagina had a great laid back vibe and the staff was absolutely wonderful.
A full buffet breakfast was waiting for us, every day after 7. Great choices and a big variety of vegan-friendly options as well, which I loved. Whether you’d prefer something western or explore cultures by choosing Indonesia, Chinese or Thain – Astagina has it provided.
