THANK YOU, 2016

Another year has passed by.

More memories got stuck in my thoughts as well as my cameras. And dare to say, I have grown a little more. Till this day, the year 2016 has been the most challenging and hard year of my life. But at the same time, full of endless adventures, crazy ideas, sleepless nights and worry-free days. I can honestly say, I’m very proud of myself for how I dealt with any sort of problems or challenges in the past months. So many things have happened, I was barely keeping up with time. And at this given moment, when I’m looking at Whistler mt. through the window, my mind sets completely differently than a year ago. And all I can say is, thank you. I learned many things, but one of the most important ones is that I don’t need much to be happy. A sunny day with good waves? A night under the sky full of stars? Or just a thrill of starting a new adventure.

I see other people worrying way too much about materialistic things, getting obsessed with trends, as soon as something new and popular comes out, whether it’s fashion or technology related. They’d do anything to get it. It’s sad, how the world has changed. And most people’s values, you know?

Oh, if I could only describe the feeling, that I get when I’m on the top of the mountain. The blustery wind howling around me, breathing in the fresh cold air, the breathtaking views and the point when the sun comes from the clouds and gently touches my skin. That’s definitely a moment that makes me forget whatever is, that’s going on in my life. And makes me focus on the positive mindset.

My favorite peaceful couple seconds of the day.

And in this crazy, fast-paced world, they’re kind of rare. Looking forward to the following year, 2017. Putting work and effort on adventures and trips as much as possible, working on new projects and taking advantage of the Beautiful BC paradise.

Life is all about being present and living in the moment. Yesterday it’s long gone and tomorrow might really never come (yes going the cheesy way!). So, you have to focus on NOW.

Happy New Year.
